Oil and grease analysis method 1664

How can l improve recoveries of oil and grease using method 1664 and solid 
Krusty
phase extraction?My recoveries are usually 73 to 85 percent.

I am not sure what Method 1664 is, but possibly diluting the  
malibu
mixture of oil and grease with a high volatile solvent (like toluene),

then evaporating the toluene. Just a suggestion, because I do not know
